The Little Things

 

The little things are not hard to find,

They may be little, but they are a big deal.

You know those things, that you tend to look back on,

Those little lessons that you learn along the way.

Those are the little things,

And when you get older, and your hair starts turning grey,

It’s not the big things that matter anymore,

It is the little things.

 

A book you read that changed your life,

A tv show that you can’t resist watching,

A person paying you a complement,

The moments you have with family, and friends.

Those are just a few of the little things in life.

 

But you can only see them, if you pay close attention,

Because if you don’t, your life will fly by,

And you will be sad, and alone.

Because you focused mostly on the BIG things in life,

Which matter, but don’t have much purpose.

So, make sure to keep your eyes wide open,

And maybe view the world from a different perspective.
